Security Service Provider Contract and Performance Management

Most organisations outsource guarding, monitoring and armed response, yet contracts are often priced on the lowest rate and then managed by complaint rather than by evidence. This course helps client side security and procurement managers specify, appoint and manage security service providers so that they get the protection they pay for. It covers scoping, service level design and performance review within the South African outsourced security market.

What you will be able to do

  • Define security service requirements and translate them into a clear scope of work.
  • Evaluate service provider proposals beyond price, including capability and compliance.
  • Design service level agreements with measurable and enforceable performance standards.
  • Verify officer deployment, training and statutory registration of the provider.
  • Run performance reviews using site inspections, data and incident evidence.
  • Manage disputes, penalties and contract exit without leaving a site exposed.
