Security Metrics, Reporting and Performance Dashboards

Security departments across Africa struggle to prove their value to executives who see them only as a cost, largely because incidents and effort go unmeasured. This course helps security leaders turn raw incident data into clear metrics and dashboards that inform decisions and justify budgets. Delegates learn to define the right measures, gather reliable data and report in the language of the boardroom.

What you will be able to do

  • Define meaningful security metrics linked to organisational risk and objectives.
  • Collect and clean incident and activity data for reliable reporting.
  • Build dashboards that show trends, hotspots and response performance.
  • Translate security performance into business language for executives.
  • Use metrics to guide resource allocation and identify weak points.
  • Set targets and review cycles that drive continuous improvement.
