Physical Penetration Testing and Facility Red Teaming

Guards, cameras and access controls only work if they actually stop an intruder, and the honest way to find out is to test them. This course teaches security managers to plan and run authorised physical penetration tests and red team exercises against their own facilities. Delegates learn reconnaissance, entry techniques, tailgating and social engineering used by real intruders, always within a controlled, authorised and ethical framework common to African corporate environments.

What you will be able to do

  • Plan an authorised physical penetration test with clear scope and rules of engagement.
  • Conduct reconnaissance of a target facility to identify weaknesses.
  • Test perimeter, access control and guarding responses using realistic techniques.
  • Apply social engineering and tailgating methods to test human defences.
  • Document findings with evidence and a clear risk rating.
  • Present remediation recommendations that strengthen physical security.
