Medical Stock and Pharmaceutical Supply Management

Stock outs of essential medicines are usually a data and ordering problem before they are a funding problem. Forecasting, minimum and maximum levels, cold chain integrity, expiry control, tender and depot ordering, and the reconciliation of dispensing records against stock on hand.

What you will be able to do

  • Forecast consumption of essential medicines using issue data and seasonal patterns.
  • Set minimum and maximum stock levels and reorder points for each item.
  • Control cold chain storage and record temperature excursions correctly.
  • Manage expiry, near expiry redistribution and stock write off procedures.
  • Order against tenders, contracts and depot allocations and follow up short supply.
  • Reconcile dispensing and issue records against physical stock counts.
