Intensive Care Unit and Critical Care Services Management

Critical care units are among the most resource intensive parts of any hospital and require disciplined operational leadership. This course covers admission and discharge criteria, bed and equipment management, staffing ratios and quality monitoring for intensive care services in African hospitals. Participants learn to balance clinical demand, scarce capacity and high running costs.
