Fuel Depot and Filling Station Security and Emergency Response

Fuel depots and service stations combine high value stock, large cash flows and serious fire and explosion hazards, making them a demanding security and emergency challenge across Africa. Theft, armed robbery, fuel siphoning and spills all threaten these sites daily. This course helps operators protect assets and people while staying ready to respond to fire and hazardous incidents.

What you will be able to do

  • Assess combined security and emergency risks unique to fuel handling sites.
  • Design access control, surveillance and cash protection for forecourts and depots.
  • Counter fuel theft, siphoning and delivery fraud through controls and checks.
  • Prepare staff to respond safely to fire, spills and explosion hazards.
  • Coordinate armed robbery prevention and response for cash handling points.
  • Build an integrated emergency plan linking security, safety and local responders.
