Airport and Aviation Security Management

Airports concentrate crowds, high value cargo and national profile into a single site, making aviation security one of the most demanding disciplines in the field. This course prepares aviation security supervisors and managers to run screening, access control and response operations across terminal and airside areas. It reflects the layered security expectations placed on South African airports and the pressure of keeping passengers moving.

  • Manage passenger, baggage and cargo screening operations and screener performance.
  • Control access to airside and restricted areas through passes and escort procedures.
