Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plans

Suppliers to the South African automotive and manufacturing sectors are frequently required to demonstrate structured product quality planning before a part reaches full production. This course walks teams through advanced product quality planning, the production part approval process, and the building of robust control plans. Participants learn how to prevent quality problems during launch rather than reacting to them once parts are being shipped.

What you will be able to do

  • Describe the phases of advanced product quality planning from concept to launch.
  • Build a control plan that links process steps to quality characteristics and checks.
  • Prepare the documents needed for a production part approval submission.
  • Link process risk assessments to inspection and monitoring decisions.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams through a product launch milestone review.
  • Manage engineering changes without losing quality control during production.
