Underground Rail and Locomotive Haulage Safety

Rail bound locomotive haulage moves people and material through many African underground mines, and its confined running lines carry serious collision and runaway risks. This programme builds competence in safe locomotive operation, track and signalling management, and haulage traffic control. Delegates work through realistic scenarios covering coupling, tipping and pedestrian interaction.
