Training Needs Analysis and Evaluation of Learning Impact

Stop guessing what training people need and start proving what training delivers. This programme equips delegates to run a rigorous training needs analysis at organisational, team and individual level, then evaluate whether learning actually changed behaviour and performance. It uses African workplace scenarios where every training rand must be justified to sceptical line managers and finance teams.

What you will be able to do

  • Conduct a training needs analysis at organisational, job and individual levels.
  • Distinguish genuine skills gaps from problems that training cannot solve.
  • Design evaluation methods that measure learning, behaviour and results.
  • Collect and interpret pre and post training performance evidence.
  • Calculate and communicate the return on a training investment.
  • Report evaluation findings to line managers and budget holders.
