Remote and Flexible Work Policy and Practice

Flexible and remote work is now an expectation, not a perk, and HR must manage it deliberately. This programme helps practitioners design remote and hybrid work policies, set fair eligibility rules and manage the productivity, equity and compliance questions that follow. It reflects African considerations including connectivity, home working costs and roles that cannot be done remotely.

What you will be able to do

  • Weigh the business case and risks of remote and flexible work.
  • Design fair eligibility criteria for flexible work arrangements.
  • Draft a remote and hybrid work policy that managers can apply.
  • Address productivity, equity and inclusion in dispersed teams.
  • Handle occupational, data and cost issues of home working.
  • Support managers to lead hybrid teams effectively.
