Public Private Partnerships for Municipal Service Delivery
This course explores how municipalities can use public private partnerships and service delivery agreements to fund and deliver infrastructure and services under the MFMA and its regulations. Participants examine the feasibility study, procurement and contracting stages of a partnership, and how risk is allocated between the municipality and the private party. South African transaction examples are used to show how to structure deals that are affordable, transparent and deliver genuine value for money.
