Project Management for Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure Developments

Hotels, lodges and leisure developments blend construction, design, brand standards and guest experience into a single project, often in remote or environmentally sensitive locations. This course covers the delivery of tourism and hospitality projects from concept to opening. It reflects the realities of African destinations where access, community relationships and conservation shape every decision.

What you will be able to do

  • Define a hospitality project brief that captures brand and guest experience.
  • Coordinate construction, interiors, landscaping and operations readiness.
  • Manage projects in remote and environmentally sensitive locations.
  • Engage communities and authorities around tourism developments.
  • Sequence pre opening staffing, systems and trial runs.
  • Deliver a soft opening and stabilise toward full operation.
