Project Management for Logistics and Warehouse Fit Out Projects

Standing up a distribution centre or warehouse is a project where the building, the racking, the systems and the people all have to come together before a single order can ship. This course covers logistics and warehouse fit out projects from design through go live. It is grounded in the growth of e commerce, retail distribution and cross border logistics across African markets.

What you will be able to do

  • Translate throughput and storage needs into a fit out project scope.
  • Coordinate building works, racking, materials handling and systems.
  • Sequence installation and testing so the site can go live cleanly.
  • Manage warehouse management system setup alongside physical fit out.
  • Plan staffing, training and stock migration into the new facility.
  • Run a controlled go live and stabilise operations afterward.
