Project Health Checks and Independent Assurance Reviews

By the time a project is visibly in trouble, the warning signs have usually been present for months. This course teaches how to run structured health checks and independent assurance reviews that surface problems early and honestly. Delegates learn to assess a project objectively and deliver findings that sponsors will act on rather than resent.

  • Design a health check that covers schedule, cost, scope, risk and stakeholder health.
  • Gather evidence through documents, interviews and data rather than opinion alone.
  • Assess whether a project is genuinely on track behind its reported status.
  • Identify the root causes behind slippage rather than only the symptoms.
  • Write assurance findings that are candid, fair and clearly actionable.
  • Present difficult conclusions to sponsors in a way that drives corrective action.
