Procurement Fraud and Conflict of Interest

Bid rigging, shell suppliers and undeclared family interests tend to leave the same traces in a procurement file. Detection methods, supplier due diligence, declaration registers and red flag analysis across the full tender cycle form the core, with attention to municipal and state owned entity supply chain practice.

What you will be able to do

  • Map the fraud exposure at each stage of the tender cycle from specification through to final payment.
  • Detect specification steering, bid rigging and collusive tendering from documents and pricing patterns.
  • Conduct supplier due diligence covering ownership, tax status, physical presence and trading history.
  • Operate a declaration of interest register that is checked against supplier and employee data.
  • Analyse payment and vendor master data for duplicate, ghost and split transactions.
  • Refer suspected procurement fraud for investigation with the supporting documents already assembled.
