Preventing and Managing Sexual Harassment and Workplace Bullying

Harassment and bullying destroy trust, drive good people out and expose employers to serious risk. This programme helps HR teams build a prevention culture and handle complaints with fairness and care. Using African workplace scenarios, delegates practise receiving disclosures, running sensitive investigations and applying appropriate outcomes while protecting complainants from retaliation.

What you will be able to do

  • Define sexual harassment and bullying and recognise the warning signs.
  • Build a prevention policy, reporting channels and awareness campaign.
  • Receive a disclosure with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Conduct a fair and thorough harassment investigation.
  • Apply proportionate outcomes and support measures.
  • Protect complainants and witnesses from victimisation.
