Operational Risk and Control Self Assessment

Gives risk and line managers the tools to identify operational risks in day to day processes and to run effective control self assessment workshops. Participants learn to capture loss events, rate control effectiveness and drive remediation that actually reduces exposure. Examples are drawn from banking, retail, manufacturing and public sector operations across the region.

  • Distinguish operational risk from other risk types and classify loss events.
  • Facilitate control self assessment workshops with process and control owners.
  • Rate inherent and residual risk using a consistent scoring approach.
  • Assess control design and operating effectiveness across key processes.
