Municipal Public Accounts Committee and Oversight Support

This course prepares councillors and officials to run and support an effective Municipal Public Accounts Committee that holds the administration to account. Participants learn to interrogate financial and audit information, question officials constructively and produce oversight reports that drive corrective action. The programme reinforces the oversight culture that African municipalities need to protect public funds.
