Municipal Land Administration and Commonage Management

This course covers the administration of municipal owned land including commonage used for grazing, farming and community purposes. Participants learn to maintain land registers, manage leases and permits and balance competing demands on public land. The programme addresses the land pressures and informal use that many African municipalities must manage fairly and transparently.
