Municipal Housing Policy and Human Settlements Administration

This course examines the administration of human settlements at municipal level, covering housing needs registers, beneficiary administration, informal settlement upgrading, title deed backlogs and coordination with provincial human settlements departments and social housing institutions. Participants learn to manage housing waiting lists fairly, process allocations transparently, and align local housing plans with the national human settlements programme.
