Managing Multiple Projects and Competing Priorities

In most South African organisations the person running a project is running several at once, alongside a day job. This course helps delegates handle a portfolio of concurrent projects without dropping commitments or burning out. It covers prioritising across projects, sharing scarce resources, protecting personal focus and keeping many stakeholders informed at the same time.

What you will be able to do

  • Prioritise work across several projects using clear, defensible criteria.
  • Plan and sequence overlapping projects that draw on the same scarce resources.
  • Manage shared team members and resolve competing demands on their time.
  • Track the health of a personal portfolio at a glance and act on early warnings.
  • Communicate progress to multiple stakeholders efficiently without constant meetings.
  • Protect personal focus and resilience while carrying a heavy project load.
