Local Economic Development Strategy and Implementation

This course guides municipal officials through designing and implementing local economic development strategies that attract investment, support SMMEs and informal traders, and align with district and provincial growth plans. Participants examine township economy revitalisation, tourism development, agro-processing opportunities and public-private partnerships, learning to translate LED strategy documents into funded, monitored projects that create measurable local jobs.
