Kanban and Lean Flow for Project Delivery

Not every project suits a heavy plan driven approach, and teams delivering a steady stream of work often benefit more from visualising flow. This course introduces Kanban and lean flow thinking as a practical way to manage work in progress, expose bottlenecks and improve delivery predictability. Examples are drawn from operations, maintenance and shared service teams common across the continent.

What you will be able to do

  • Visualise project and operational work on a Kanban board that reflects real workflow.
  • Set work in progress limits that surface bottlenecks rather than hide them.
  • Measure lead time and throughput to forecast delivery more honestly.
  • Run cadences such as replenishment and delivery reviews that keep flow healthy.
  • Apply lean thinking to remove waste and handoffs that slow delivery.
  • Decide when a flow based approach suits a piece of work better than a fixed plan.
