Investigation Report Writing and Giving Evidence at Disciplinary Hearings

A strong investigation can still collapse if the report is weak or the evidence is poorly presented. This practical course teaches investigators to write clear, defensible fraud and misconduct reports and to give evidence confidently in disciplinary and CCMA proceedings. Delegates draft findings from a case study and practise presenting and being cross examined on their conclusions.

What you will be able to do

  • Structure an investigation report that leads to sound findings.
  • Present evidence, analysis and conclusions without bias.
  • Apply the correct standard of proof and reasoning.
  • Prepare exhibits, timelines and witness summaries.
  • Give evidence clearly and withstand cross examination.
  • Avoid procedural errors that undermine disciplinary outcomes.
