Intergovernmental Relations and Cooperative Governance
This course explores how municipalities, provinces and national government coordinate through South Africa's system of cooperative governance, covering the Intergovernmental Relations Framework Act, district development model structures, provincial monitoring and support interventions, and section 139 processes. Participants learn to navigate multi-sphere planning, resolve jurisdictional disputes, and build productive working relationships across spheres of government.
