Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Exposure Laboratory Analysis

A course on the laboratory side of occupational exposure monitoring, covering the analysis of workplace air, dust and biological samples for hazardous agents. Delegates learn sampling media, sample handling, analytical methods and how results feed exposure assessment. The programme links laboratory work to worker health protection.

What you will be able to do

  • Explain how occupational exposure samples are collected and preserved.
  • Handle and prepare air, dust and biological monitoring samples.
  • Apply analytical methods for metals, solvents and particulates.
  • Calculate concentrations and relate them to exposure limits.
  • Apply quality control to exposure analysis.
  • Report results clearly for occupational hygiene decisions.
