Environmental Compliance and Waste Management for Municipalities

This course covers municipal environmental management obligations, including waste collection and landfill licensing, illegal dumping enforcement, air quality monitoring and compliance with the National Environmental Management Act and Waste Act. Participants examine integrated waste management planning, recycling and circular economy opportunities, and the environmental authorisation processes municipalities must follow for new infrastructure and development projects.
