Emergency Roadside Assistance and Breakdown Recovery Management

Prepares fleets to respond quickly and safely when vehicles break down or are stranded, often on remote or unsafe stretches of African road. The programme covers breakdown reporting, roadside safety, towing and recovery coordination, and supplier networks for parts and repairs. It focuses on cutting the downtime, danger and cost that follow an unmanaged breakdown far from base.

What you will be able to do

  • Set up a clear breakdown reporting and response procedure.
  • Apply roadside safety measures to protect drivers and stranded vehicles.
  • Coordinate towing, recovery and repair suppliers efficiently.
  • Build a network of roadside assistance and parts providers along routes.
  • Prioritise recovery to reduce downtime and cargo risk.
  • Record breakdown events to identify recurring failures.
