Electrochemical Analysis: pH, Conductivity and Ion Selective Electrodes

This practical course covers the reliable measurement of pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and specific ions in water, effluent, food and process samples. Delegates learn electrode care, calibration, temperature compensation and troubleshooting so that fast electrochemical readings remain accurate and defensible.

What you will be able to do

Explain the measurement principles of pH, conductivity and ion electrodes.
Calibrate meters correctly using appropriate buffers and standards.
Apply temperature compensation and understand its effect on results.
Maintain, condition and store electrodes to extend their life.
Measure specific ions such as fluoride, nitrate and chloride.
Diagnose slow, drifting or unstable electrode responses.
