Digital Scheduling Tools for Project Teams

A schedule is only useful if the whole team can read it, trust it and update it. This hands-on course builds practical skill in the scheduling software South African teams use every day, from desktop planning tools to cloud collaboration boards. Delegates learn to structure a plan, load resources, track progress and keep a schedule honest as the work changes.

What you will be able to do

  • Structure a work breakdown and task list that a scheduling tool can turn into a workable plan.
  • Build and link tasks, set dependencies and identify the critical path.
  • Load resources and costs and spot over-allocation before it derails delivery.
  • Baseline a schedule and track actual progress against it week by week.
  • Use cloud collaboration boards to keep dispersed and site-based teams aligned.
  • Produce clear schedule reports and updates for sponsors and site teams.
