Decarbonising Heavy Industry: Cement, Steel and Chemicals

Cement, steel and chemical production are cornerstones of African industrialisation and among the hardest sectors to decarbonise because of their high heat and process emissions. This programme examines the technologies and strategies that can cut emissions in these industries and the trade offs involved. Delegates learn to evaluate realistic decarbonisation pathways for energy intensive plants in an African context.
