Courier, Parcel and Express Distribution Network Management

Prepares managers to run courier and parcel operations where speed, tracking and reliability decide whether customers stay. Covers hub and sorting operations, linehaul between depots, delivery scheduling and the returns and failed delivery challenges of African e-commerce. Distinct from last mile alone, it looks at the whole parcel network from collection to final handover.

What you will be able to do

  • Design a parcel network across collection, hub, linehaul and delivery stages.
  • Manage sorting hub throughput and cut off times for next day service.
  • Plan linehaul schedules between depots to keep parcels moving overnight.
