Community Safety Forums and Municipal Policing Coordination

This course helps municipalities coordinate community safety through partnerships with police, community forums and other stakeholders. Participants learn to run community safety forums, develop local safety plans, and align municipal functions such as lighting, bylaws and public spaces with crime prevention. The programme strengthens the municipal role in creating safer neighbourhoods across African urban and rural settings.
