Communicating Organisational Change to Employees

Restructures, system rollouts and new strategies fail across African organisations when employees are left confused, anxious or unheard. How change is communicated often matters more than the change itself. This course equips managers and communicators to plan and deliver honest, well timed messages that build understanding and support during periods of change.

What you will be able to do

  • Plan a change communication approach aligned to the stages of the change.
  • Craft honest messages that acknowledge concerns without spreading fear.
  • Choose the right channels and timing for different audiences.
  • Equip managers to hold difficult change conversations with their teams.
  • Create feedback loops that let employees be heard during change.
  • Adjust messaging as the change and its reception evolve.
