Zero Trust Architecture Design and Implementation

Perimeter based security no longer protects organisations where staff work remotely and systems span cloud and on premises environments. This course guides architects and infrastructure teams through designing a zero trust model built on continuous verification and least privilege. Participants develop a phased adoption plan suited to African connectivity and budget realities.

What you will be able to do

  • Explain the core principles of zero trust and why perimeter defences fall short.
  • Assess current identity, device and network posture against zero trust maturity models.
  • Design segmentation and least privilege access across hybrid environments.
  • Select authentication and verification controls appropriate to organisational risk.
  • Sequence a phased migration that avoids disrupting critical operations.
  • Measure and report on zero trust progress to leadership and auditors.
