Tender and Proposal Writing That Wins Work

Most bids are lost on compliance, not price. Reading the specification properly, pricing schedules, B-BBEE and local content evidence, and the narrative that scores functionality points. The focus is public and private tenders in South Africa, and delegates bring a live bid document to work on.

What you will be able to do

  • Score a tender opportunity before committing resources, using a decision that considers capability, margin and competitor position.
  • Break a tender document into a compliance checklist so that no mandatory return, declaration or certificate is missed.
  • Write functionality responses that answer the published evaluation criteria point by point.
  • Assemble supporting evidence including B-BBEE certificates, tax compliance status, references and local content declarations.
  • Build a pricing schedule that is competitive and still defensible when the client queries rates.
  • Run a review of a draft submission and correct the weaknesses it exposes before the closing date.
