Software Supply Chain Security and Dependency Risk

Modern applications built by African development teams depend heavily on external libraries, build tools and hosted services, each of which introduces risk. This course examines how attackers compromise software supply chains and how organisations can defend them. Participants learn to inventory components, verify integrity and respond when a trusted dependency is compromised.

  • Build and maintain an inventory of software components and their origins.
  • Assess the trust, integrity and provenance of external dependencies.
