Site Supervision, Workmanship and Quality Control

Poor workmanship is expensive to fix and almost always traces back to weak supervision at the point the work was done. Site agents and foremen examine inspection routines, quality plans, testing of common building trades, non conformance reporting and the daily records that protect a contractor when defects are alleged.

What you will be able to do

  • Prepare a project quality plan with hold points and inspection test plans.
  • Inspect concrete, masonry, plaster, waterproofing and roofing work against accepted standards.
  • Supervise subcontractors so that trade sequencing does not damage completed work.
  • Raise, track and close non conformance reports without stalling the programme.
  • Keep site diaries, instruction registers and photographic records that stand as evidence.
  • Run snagging and handover inspections that reduce defects liability claims.
