Safety Culture Maturity Assessment and Improvement Planning
Two sites can hold the same certificates and run the same procedures yet behave completely differently when nobody is watching, and that difference is culture. This course gives leaders a way to measure where their safety culture sits, from reactive to genuinely proactive, and to plan realistic steps to move it forward. It uses maturity models, perception surveys and practical improvement roadmaps suited to African organisations at very different starting points.
What you will be able to do
Describe the stages of safety culture maturity from reactive to proactive.
Assess current culture using surveys, interviews and observable indicators.
Interpret results honestly and identify the real barriers to progress.
Set realistic culture improvement goals matched to the organisation's stage.
Design interventions that shift leadership behaviour and worker engagement.
Track culture indicators over time and sustain momentum.
