Persuasion and Influencing Skills for Non Sales Professionals

Everyone sells ideas, whether pitching a project, winning internal support or gaining agreement from colleagues. This programme gives professionals outside formal sales roles the skills to influence others honestly and effectively. Participants practise structuring a case, reading their audience and handling pushback in the everyday situations common in African workplaces.

What you will be able to do

  • Recognise the everyday situations that call for influence.
  • Structure a persuasive case around the listener's priorities.
  • Read audiences and adapt your approach to them.
  • Use credibility, logic and rapport ethically to gain agreement.
  • Handle pushback and objections without conflict.
  • Secure commitment and a clear next step.
