Electrical Safety and Safe Working Practices

Electrical incidents remain a leading cause of serious injury on African worksites, yet most are preventable with sound practice. This course builds a strong safety culture around isolation, arc flash awareness and safe working procedures. Delegates learn to protect themselves and their teams while working on or near live and de-energised equipment.

  • Recognise electrical hazards including shock and arc flash
  • Apply safe isolation and lock out procedures correctly
  • Select and use appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Follow permit to work systems for electrical tasks
