Cyber Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting

As targeted attacks against African banks, telecoms and government entities grow more organised, defenders need to move from reacting to alerts toward actively hunting threats. This course develops the analytical skills to collect, assess and act on threat intelligence. Participants learn to form hypotheses, search enterprise data for hidden intrusions, and turn findings into stronger defences.

What you will be able to do

  • Distinguish strategic, operational and tactical threat intelligence and their business uses.
  • Collect and evaluate intelligence from open and commercial sources relevant to African targets.
  • Map adversary behaviour to recognised tactics, techniques and procedures.
  • Formulate and test threat hunting hypotheses across logs and endpoint data.
  • Prioritise indicators of compromise and convert them into detection rules.
  • Communicate threat findings clearly to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
