Cyber Incident Response and Business Continuity

The first hours of a cyber incident decide how much damage an organisation absorbs. Plans, roles and decision rules for detecting, containing and recovering from an attack are built and then tested in a tabletop exercise, alongside the continuity arrangements that keep critical operations running throughout.

What you will be able to do

  • Establish an incident response structure with defined roles, authority and escalation paths.
  • Classify an incident by severity and trigger the appropriate level of response.
  • Contain an active incident while preserving the evidence needed for later investigation.
  • Coordinate communication with staff, customers, regulators and law enforcement during a live event.
  • Identify critical business processes and set realistic recovery time and recovery point targets.
  • Design and run a tabletop exercise that tests the plan and produces improvement actions.
