Construction Site Establishment and Logistics Planning

How a site is set up in its first weeks shapes safety, productivity and cost for the whole contract. This course covers the planning of site establishment and logistics on South African building and civil projects, from the site layout and access to material flow, storage and welfare. Participants learn to design a site that moves people, plant and materials efficiently and safely.

  • Design material delivery, handling and storage arrangements.
  • Plan traffic, pedestrian and plant movement to reduce risk.
