Building Envelope Thermal Performance and Insulation Supervision

The building envelope decides how much energy a building wastes and how comfortable it is to occupy, long after the contractor has left site. This course covers the supervision of insulation, air tightness and glazing installation to achieve the intended thermal performance. It responds to African energy costs and comfort demands that make well built envelopes a serious commercial advantage.

  • Supervise wall, roof and floor insulation installation.
  • Check air tightness, sealing and continuity of the envelope.
